- Size (arcmin): 120×60
- Type: ?
- Flux density at 1 GHz (Jy): 85?
- Spectral Index: 0.7?
Notes: Eastern part has been called G40.0-3.1. Is this a SNR?
- Radio: Elongated shell, containing SS433, adjacent to the HII region S74.
- Optical: Faint filaments at the edge of the radio emission.
- X-ray: Emission from SS433 and two lobes.
- Point sources: SS433 is the compact source in the centre of the W50.
- Distance: Distance to SS433 is 5 kpc.
